Grace Dieu Garden Party 2008 - Sat 21st June 2008 12.30 p.m
Lady Roesia de Verdun and the Friends of Grace Dieu Priory have pleasure in inviting you to the Grace Dieu Garden Party at the Grace Dieu Priory on Saturday 21st June 2008 12.30.p.m to 5.00.p.m.
Musical Entertainment will be provided by the Newcroft Primary School, Belton C. of E. Primary School and The Folk Singing Group.
There will be a Falconry Display, a Model Helicopter display and demonstrations of wood turning, wool spinning and stone carving. You can test your skills by entering the skittles and welly wanging competitions. You can chance your luck on the ferret racing, tombola, raffle and wine stall.
Find out more about the history of Grace Dieu Priory, the Tudor Mansion, The Charnwood Forest Canal and the Charnwood Forest Railway. There will be a wide variety of stalls selling their wares. Refreshments, ice cream and afternoon tea will be on sale through out the event.
Entrance is free. Children under 12 years should be accompanied by an adult. Car Parking has been arranged at the Grace Dieu Manor Preparatory School.
There is limited disabled parking via the gate on the A512. Bring your friends and family and join us for a fun day out.
